Homemade Snickerdoodles

these are so easy to make, and they take like 7 minutes to get oven ready. :)

 Snickerdoodle Cookies:

1/2 C butter (1 stick)
1 C Sugar
1 Egg
1/2 Tsp Vanilla
1/4 Tsp Baking Soda
1/4 Tsp Cream of Tartar
1 Tsp Cinnamon
1 1/2 C Flour

Beat butter and sugar in a mixer, add egg then rest of ingredients.
roll/scoop dough into 1 in balls, (like a TBSP), drop into a mixture of sugar and cinnamon (2 TBSP sugar to 1 TSP Cinnamon) roll until coated, place onto an ungreased baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes or until slightly brown on bottom.

These make me feel like fall is almost here, even though it doesn't feel like it outside (still 90 degrees here in TX).

Can't wait for fall, definitely my absolute favorite season. :)
