Blueberry Cheese Danish
This recipe is simple yet it tastes amazing, don't tell anyone how you made them ;)
Blueberry Cheese Danish:
2 8oz cans of crescent dough
8 oz cream cheese
1 1/2 C powdered sugar
1 1/2 C Fresh Blueberries
1/2 C white sugar
1 Tbs Cornstarch
1/2 C warm water
the first thing you need to do is make the blueberry sauce, all that's in it is: 1 1/2 C Blueberries, 1/2 C White Sugar, 1 Tbs Cornstarch and 1/2 C warm water.
(1st) Put sugar and cornstarch in a medium size saucepan, add warm water. bring to a rolling boil and continue for 2 minutes, turn off fire and set aside.
(2nd) beat 8oz cream cheese and 1 1/2 C powdered sugar in a mixer, set aside.
(3rd) get two ungreased baking sheets, open crescent rolls (there are 8 crescents in each can, but you use 2 crescent rolls for each danish) place crescents onto baking sheets.(I used pizza pans)
(4th) Spread the cream cheese mixture onto crescent rolls then spoon your blueberry sauce over the cream cheese.
(5th) Bake at 375 degrees for 8-12 minutes (mine took 9 so be careful not to over bake)
After they bake I like to spoon a little bit of the cream cheese mix on top and kinda swirl it around, makes it look pretty.
I hope you make these real soon, they're delicious :)
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog, if you can let me know if you're going to give these a try by leaving me a comment :)
if you're not going to make these don't leave me a comment, "just kidding you can leave me a comment, I love comments :)"
