The Daniel Fast

I started the Daniel Fast on January 7th, it's a fast that lasts 21 days. This fast is a model set by Daniel in the Bible.

Daniel 10:2-3
"In those days I, Daniel, was mourning three full weeks. I ate no pleasant food, no meat or wine came into my mouth, nor did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled."

Can Eat:
All Fruits
All Vegetables
All Seeds & Nuts
Whole Grain Pasta & Bread

Can't Eat:
Any Type Of Meat (Including Fish)
Dairy (Including Butter & Eggs)
Junk Food Of Any Kind
Caffeine And Sweeteners (Even Natural Ones)
Any Beverage Other Than Water (Including Tea)
White Flour
Chocolate D:
Pretty Much Anything That Comes In A Box (Because Of The Stripped Or Enriched Flours, Preservatives, Additives, Chemicals, Hydrogenated Oils And Dyes)

To start off with I don't eat beef or pork, I quit any type of carbonated beverage 2 years ago, and I stopped eating chips in the beginning of December. 

To be completely honest with you I don't miss any of that stuff because it's been so long since I've had it so there's no way I could possibly crave it. :)

This is still a big change (I mean hello, no chocolate!!) but it's still a good thing to do, we discipline ourselves in several ways, but not always when it comes to what we put in our body..

Remember when my computer crashed for like... 2 weeks? well I was pretty busy making signs in the mean time. 

Here are half the signs I've put up in our space in one of our local antique malls, I will post the other half tomorrow!! :D 

I've put these signs in our space to sell, I hate to let them go because so much time and care is put into each one of them, but I really don't have the space for them in my room anymore haha! Although I do have a shelf in my room, I can't fit anymore on it!!
