Bold & Beautiful Chest

Hey!! here's a project I completed yesterday, in the end it looks totally different to me, so much more appealing :).

 Bold and Beautiful!! :D

What I Did:

Lightly Sanded The Chest
Primed 
Painted Turquoise
Sanded Lightly
Put A Dark Glaze Over Certain Areas
Buffed Off The Dark Glaze
Distressed Certain Areas By Sanding 
 (Used Nail Polish Remover To 
Remove Any Paint From The Metal)
Sealed With Clear Polycrylic

I'm quite proud of it :), Love the distressed look.

I bought this box at an antique mall for only $5.00!! when I saw the price of it I snatched it up and clinched it to my side as if it were a winning lottery ticket haha.
This project turned out exactly how I envisioned it.
